They have some powerful testimonial videos on their site.Aside from the other firms listed above, we found they are one of the better firms at following up on your case file. They do all the tedious follow up work and stay on it like a pitbull until you see results. While personal contact may leave a bit to be desired, the work they do definitely makes up for it.
If you have more questions about your specific situation, don’t hesitate to just give them a call them and ask. We found them to be extremely helpful, friendly and not pushy.

The very first thing yyou'll get is your welcome email – which includes easy step-by-step instructions on obtaining your credit reports and getting them over to Sky Blue for initial review. Once Sky Blue has your credit reports, they contact you for a consultation which will cover their dispute plan and any other suggested action they feel is appropriate for your circumstances. Their primary goal will be to cover all angles and help you build “lender-ready credit”.
A unique aspect of the Sky Blue Credit’s process is statute of limitation research, which dictates how they proceed on collection accounts. As a result, if there are active collections you can rest easy knowing all disputes are done with care. That’s very important because reckless disputes on collection accounts can make things go from bad to worse, so we applaud Sky Blue for the extra attention in that area.
Immediately after your consultation, they’ll send out your first round of credit bureau disputes. You will be told to keep an eye out for the responses from the credit bureaus, and to forward them to Sky Blue when they arrive.
Once the process is in motion you can expect smooth sailing. Each month you will get response letters from the bureaus and forward them along. Progress updates are available on demand via phone or email, and anytime you would like additional counseling all you need to do is pick up the phone and call them.

Ovation Credit Repair - www.ovationcredit.com Ovation Credit Repair is not the most well known or popular credit firm on the block, but we applaud them for fantastic customer service and responsiveness.Also, with the ability to add the Fast Track service for a one time fee, it’s a nice way to put your case file at the top of the heap and get things moving if you’re under a deadline to get a mortgage or other type of loan.
Although they’re not a top choice, they do work very hard to add a bit more of a personal touch to their service and bend over backwards a little more to address or discuss any specific or unique credit situations you may have.

Veracity Credit is another good firm which is fairly basic, but it’s a great bargain while still maintaining good follow-up on your case file and they do a very effective work.

Best value: This is essentially a Do-It-Yourself type plan, with handholding and advice. Includes full credit report analysis and unlimited access to credit consultants.

This is Veracity’s standard credit repair plan, which includes unlimited disputes and online account management.
Platinum: $79/mo + $99 Signup Fee
Full service plan, which is generally faster and more hands on. Includes same services as Select, plus unlimited creditor intervention, collection intervention, and customized credit optimization plan.

Although their service can be somewhat “bare bones”, they do have good, friendly customer service reps and are very responsive to answering questions you may have between work cycles.
If your situation is fairly straightforward with no complicated issues, Veracity is an excellent choice and many people find they’re treated well and maintain good communication.
While we’ve heard progress can be somewhat sporadic in the Veracity Credit Select Plan, many people still start to see some good improvements in their FICO scores within 3-6 months. The Platinum Service was added for those who need a little more high touch and faster service.
If you’re a “do-it-yourselfer” and don’t want to go it alone, or if you’re limited on budget, the Credit Advisor is a great plan for that which we don’t see too often.

Based in Dayton, Ohio, CMAC is a firm that provides much more of a personal touch than just shooting out a bunch of template letters. A personal credit coach is assigned to each customer to assist with your situational specifics.
CMAC’s services are very comprehensive and are excellent if you want someone to help you in more of a “big picture” way.
Pricing and Service Levels:
CMAC Basic: $69/mo + $89 Setup Fee
Unlimited phone and email coaching plus action plans on any bad outstanding debts. Most significant results within 3-4 month timeframe.
CMAC Express: 3 Month Plan is $349, 6 Month Plan is $499. Startup cost is $175, which is then applied to the total plan pricing.
Same services as the CMAC basic, but much more aggressive and in depth. Most significant results are within 30-45 days.
CMAC Elite: 3 Month Plan $749, 1 Year Plan $2,995. Startup cost is $375 which is applied to the total plan pricing.
This plan is designed for real estate investors, business owners, or anyone who heavily depends on credit and must maintain the highest and most optimal scores at all times. VERY aggressive, in depth, and high touch service with a senior credit advisor.
What’s most unique about CMAC’s programs is they go beyond just basic score improvement and get into credit “behavior modeling”. FICO scores and payment history only account for part of what lenders use to evaluate you, and therefore CMAC approaches credit improvement from multiple angles.
While CMAC is not the cheapest, you can rest assured you will be treated VERY well by these folks and won’t be just another number to them.
